There are so many options out there for booking that at times, it can feel overwhelming. That is why it’s great to use a travel agent. We can help narrow down what works for your destination, budget and travel needs. Plus, by booking your vacation package through us – you can put down a deposit and then your final payment isn’t due until 60-45 days prior to your departure instead of having to pay it all upfront. Of course, if you’re booking something within 60-45 days of travel, the total is due at the time of booking.
But, if you like doing your own research and booking things online; we have that too. Check out our BOOK IT NOW page on our website. It takes you directly to some of our favorite travel companies’ websites – like Apple Vacations and Funjet Vacations for example. They have flight/hotel packages to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Jamaica, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe and more. We also have the Globus Family which has escorted tours throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia, South Pacific and the Middle East. They also have river cruises. This way, you can check out all the different aspects of your trip but still have our local support to help answer questions or take care of certain details. And, in the event of a problem with your trip, (the best laid plans and all), we’re there to help get things back on track.
If you have questions about any of these companies or their destinations, give us a call. Let us help you find the best deal for your dollar, needs and dreams. Or, book it online and have us as your backup should you need it.

Last summer, my family and I had a reunion trip to Branson, MO. We stayed at a neat hotel – the Savannah House. It’s a typical hotel (allbeit very pretty) with a couple of small pools and standard rooms having 2 double beds or 1 king but what makes it cool is its location. Off the strip on Expressway Lane, it gives you easy access to just about any theatre or attraction on the strip by taking the back roads. Which, if you’ve ever been to Branson and sat on the strip in traffic, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. As a point of budget, it does include a continental/hot breakfast with the deal and the view of the Ozark mountains from the front porch is nothing to sneeze at. Their gazeebo would be perfect for a wedding picture too! Check it out and then call us for a Branson package – we have great deals for a romantic getaway, girlfriends weekend or some summer family fun.
When looking for a couples resort in Jamaica, there are so many things to consider. My favorite has to be the Couples Resorts. They have four different locations – Couples Tower Isle (Ocho Rios), Couples San Souci (Ocho Rios), Couples Negril and Couples Swept Away. The biggest reason for them being my favorite is the availability of all the ammenitites you’re looking for and more but nestled in a smaller, more intimate setting. Each resort has a beachfront location with no more than 312 rooms and a separate area for au natural sunbathing (if that’s your sort of thing). They also have an exclusive airport arrival lounge which can come in handy if you arrive real early and have to wait for a shuttle or limosine. They’ve also included the cost of transfers to/from the resorts in your price. There are no extra taxes, no tipping, no extraneous hotel fees, no surcharges for the gourmet diningand NO KIDS. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my children but there are times when I need some space. This place is my space and could be yours too. Not to mention, they feature “lobster nights” from Jul 1 – March 31. Water sports is my thing – so I love that they include a scuba resort course with one dive plus a host of other water fun like snorkeling, wind surfing, hobie cat sailing, waterskiing, and glass bottom boat rides. Honeymooners can expect not only a most romantic atmosphere but will also get gifts like sparkling wine and a 30-minute his/hers massage. Anyone who’s been on a cruise or to some other resorts can attest to the fact that WIFI is expensive. Well, not at Couples – it’s included. Oh, there is so much more and I will touch on each resort as we go along….stay tuned.
Who has not been captivated by tales of knights and dragons, of medieval feuds, battles and betrayals? Serving as the backdrop for each of these stories is a castle. Visiting a castle can provide a playground for the imagination, allowing the mind to revel in legend and lore. Walking through grand halls past suits of armor, torches and tapestries, one cannot fathom so many stories embedded in stone. More than a getaway from the stresses of everyday life, castles have the ability to transport visitors to another time.
The United Kingdom and Ireland are the traditional areas for castle stays and tours. Britain alone has several thousand castles, most constructed in the 11th through 15th centuries. Austria, Spain, Portugal, Germany and France likewise have many amazing properties scattered throughout their many provinces and districts offering both tours and hotel like accommodations. Central Europe is a quickly growing castle market with highly competitive pricing. In particular, Hungary offers several properties constructed during the Baroque and Rococo periods, as does the Czech Republic and its sister state of Slovenia. If you have a particular destination in mind, ask us to investigate the possibility of castle tours and vacations as an alternative to more traditional lodging options!
A good travel consultant can help you navigate the maze of castles. There are a number of important considerations, including the types of castle, the choice of rooms inside of the castles, the general condition of the properties and the number of guests permitted. Your travel consultant will inquire with regard to the standards of the tour company and how the company chooses the castles with which it works. For example, far too many tour companies include manor houses in their definition of “castles”, risking the disappointment of their guests. Your travel consultant will make sure that you obtain a match much closer to your preferences and will provide you with pictures of various properties along with a history to ensure that you will be in a castle of the period and age of your preference.
